The light is in the world

and his name is Jesus who sacrificed himself to rescue us and the Holy Spirit of God is our comfort now and forever if we believe in the light of the world.

When you are entombed in a dark, underground tunnel you want to still have hope that in the end someone will come for you to rescue you and that in the end you will be saved.

The darkness is all around you, almost suffocating you.  In the beginning you had confident faith that you would be found and would be able to escape.  Then you begin to lose hope when the time passes and hours turn into days.  Then you begin to worry whether they will find you.  Later, you begin to worry if they are even looking for you.  Doubts and fears creep in.  You begin to waver in your faith that someone cares enough about you to even look for you.  What did they think of you, were you a good enough human being in their eyes?   Did you make enough of an impact in anyone’s life that you become worthy of their sacrificed effort?   You try to hold on to faith that you will be rescued but even the very thing you knew about yourself, your family and friends seemed to be outside of yourself and not inside with you in the darkness.  You begin to feel left behind to die alone.  You wonder if you might become simply a memory in someone’s mind.

The above is a description of despair.  Despair makes you feel like giving up all hope that things will ever change.  It is a sinking, helpless feeling that floods over you as though you have no control of your life at all.

Then, suddenly it an instant, the light appears, hope also re-appears.  Someone has found you.  All your fears and doubts are gone in an instant with that beam of light dispelling the darkness.  Hope is light in dark times!  The light brings hope but the substance of something you know to be true and real just outside that hard mountain of stone, is confident faith to believe in. Faith comes from believing in what is beyond the hope.  If you were trapped in a cave and suddenly the light breaks forth shattering the darkness, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have already been rescued because they came for you…someone loved you enough to come for you.  You don’t know how they are going to get you out but only that they will.  The light brings hope but beyond that hope is something you know and believe in 100%...green grass, fresh air, your friends and family that love you….now you have a reason to live because it is real and that which you can believe in is just outside your reach but you believe it more than anything in your life.

Jesus is your rescuer, your savior, your salvation and your light!  He is your family and your friend.  He was sent to bring you home to be with the Father for eternity as long as you keep hold of the faith.

-------------------------

If you were driving and someone told you that you were lost and showed you a road map proving to you that you were on the wrong road, why would you keep going the wrong way?

The word REPENT means to have sorrow and remorse for your decision and to turn from the path you are on and return to God your creator who gave you life.  Choose the right road!

He will forgive you!  He wants to forgive you

but it is up to you to ask and trust him.  Have faith that God is the only being you can trust 100% and the only one who loves you enough to truly give his life for you.  You mean that much to him.

God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:

"Lord Jesus, me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving "

If you are unsure about this, would like more information or  did not pray this prayer but would like to understand why it is important to do so then select JESUS now - click on the picture to hear his prayer for you.

LOVE LETTER TO YOU FROM GOD

WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE AND UNDERSTAND?

Acts 7:56   And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

God is someone most people say they believe in but do they really have a personal relationship with Him?

Do you have a personal relationship with God or do you think you are okay just because you believe he exists?  You must believe in your heart, confess from your mouth and put action with your faith.

If you choose not to believe then you are being foolish for even the demonic forces believe in God -- they know he exists but they cannot have a personal relationship with him.  You must believe that God exists and rewards your steps of faith for a personal relationship with him.

Bible references: James 2:19-24, Romans 4:11, 10:9, 10:10, Hebrews 11:6

Having a personal relationship with God is unlike any other.  It is the most perfect relationship you will ever have with anyone.  No other can compare.  Imagine being loved by a perfect being with perfect love.

Did you know the human condition was already well established before you were ever born --For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23 This verse illuminates the sinfulness of all peopleChristians and non-Christians alike.

Second, there is a price to be paid for our imperfections and weaknesses in the 'sin' nature.  However there is hope offered in Christ-- Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Third, Romans 10:9 reveals the method by which any  individual may receive Jesus as his own personal Savior:

If  YOU confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in YOUR heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU will be saved.

Fourth, Romans 10:13 offers hope to those seeking the Lord:   "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

"What does all this mean to me?", you may be asking yourself.  It simply means that, because of no fault of your own, you were born into a sinful world with no means of paying the debt of salvation on your own.  Someone had to die for the good of all.  Jesus Christ is the final, ultimate sacrifice, who willingly died in your place.  This is the reality.  This is the truth you need to know to be truly free.

There is no need to keep searching for acceptance and love.  Christ paid the debt so you could know God, the Father, and be reunited with Him.  The spirit inside of each of us (just as he originally created us) really knows this to be true but being human we find it hard to believe it could be that simple.  It is that simple.

God is real.  God is not fallible and cannot lie.

Titus 1:2   In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

I have been a Christian since I was 14 years old.  I have lived most of my life striving to know God better until I allowed my eyes to lock onto men and women in the ministry.  I respected them and I was disappointed in them when they failed me.  I looked up to them and let them guide me, encourage me, teach me and discipline me using the Word of God and their own life examples.

I forgot that mankind is subject to err.  We make mistakes.  We disappoint one another.  I forgot to keep my eyes on Jesus and my mind focused on God's voice...his written letters to tell us truth, wisdom and knowledge.  I strayed because I looked to the wisdom of men and did not remain leaning on Christ and his truth.  Learn from my mistakes and do not stray from the right path.

Now I find it hard restoring my relationship with God and finding my faith again.  I struggle more now than I ever did before.  Don't let the Satan get a foothold on you.  Don't let him pull you any farther from God.  Cling to the truth and hold on to God's hand so He can guide you by His word and not by your emotions.  Get close to God at all costs because the time is short and soon he will return for his church.

I do not trust in "men" anymore.  I do trust God and I do believe the Bible but I listen only to what I believe the Holy Spirit is telling me and compare what I am hearing in my spirit to the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Hold on, for a time is coming when the winds are going to blow the chaff from the wheat.  Those who remain will be caught up with him in the air.  When he returns will he find me ready and busy about his business?  When he returns will I still believe?  When he returns will I be caught off guard?  When the trumpet sounds, will I hear it?
